In 2019, a few families planted a vision. Today, we are a thriving church family in Dunedin, a living testimony to God’s faithfulness. Our story is next.
Where Faith Took Root & A Family Grew
In early 2019, a small seed of faith was planted in Dunedin by a few pioneering families. Their vision was simple yet profound: to worship God in spirit and truth, and to build a genuine, Christ-centered community. They trusted in God’s promise that this humble fellowship would one day flourish.
Today, we are the living answer to those prayers. IPC Peniel Church has blossomed into a vibrant, multi-generational family where people from all walks of life gather to worship, grow, serve, and experience the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.
Life happens in community. Join us for fellowship, study, outreach, and celebration as we live out our faith together in Dunedin.
Step into the life of our church family. These moments capture the joy of fellowship, the heart of worship, and the love we share as we grow together in Christ.
We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word. The following beliefs are the bedrock of our fellowship, teaching, and life together at IPC Peniel Church.
We stand firmly on the truth of God's Word. The following beliefs are the bedrock of our fellowship, teaching, and life together at IPC Peniel Church.
The Eternal, True and Holy Trinity is one God existing in three personalities, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe humankind was created in God’s image, fell into sin, and can only be restored to glory through Jesus Christ.
The fallen man should approach God with true repentance for sins and faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ.
The man is justified by faith and that guilt is pardoned by the blood of Jesus Christ.
The man is born of God through the Holy Spirit and the word of God.
Baptism by immersion is a believer's public identification with Christ, uniting us in His death and resurrection.
A believer should be separated from sin, sinners, false doctrines and all kinds of worship contrary to the Bible.
We have a vision inherited from the commission that Jesus Christ completed at the cross. To give away to the world what God has given us. We are surrendered and transformed people who know it is not about us but all about Him.
Our vision is to seek the lost, strengthen the weak, embrace the outcast and empower the poor, and creation of a Bible-based culture, led by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
At IPC Peniel, every gathering is an opportunity to encounter God, grow in faith, and connect with a family that cares. You are warmly invited.
Pastor Sujan D was born and brought up in Kerala, India, in a devout born-again Christian family, where he was nurtured in prayer, the Word of God, and a deep love for the Lord. For the past three years , he has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Peniel IPC Dunedin, New Zealand, where the Lord continues to use him to shepherd the congregation, strengthen believers, and reach the wider community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is blessed with his wife, Sis. Ancy , who stands beside him as a strong support in both life and ministry. Together, they are blessed with two daughters, Doreen and Tessa, who bring joy and grace to their family.
