Sunday Worship Service

Our main gathering for heartfelt worship, prayer, and biblical teaching. A time for our whole church family to unite.

Sunday School
Sundays | 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Spirit-filled team teaches children about God's love through engaging lessons, songs, and activities, helping them build a lasting foundation of faith. (Deuteronomy 6:5-9)

PYPA Youth Fellowship

Our dynamic youth ministry for the next generation. A place for young people to connect, grow in leadership, and deepen their faith together.

Sisters’ Fellowship
First Wednesday of each month | 6:00 PM

A sacred time for women to connect, study God’s Word, pray together, and encourage one another in building Christ-centered homes.

Prayer

Prayer is our foundation. We gather for focused prayer times throughout the month, including chain prayers for the sick and our community.

The Pentecostal Young People’s Association (PYPA)

The Pentecostal Young People’s Association (PYPA), the youth wing of the Indian Pentecostal Church, was founded in 1947 by a group of Pentecostal college students. PYPA was established to nurture Pentecostal youth socially, mentally, culturally, and above all, spiritually.

In 2023, this organization was formed at Peniel IPC Dunedin by a few dedicated individuals who carried a deep burden to see the next generation of the church empowered for the expansion of God’s Kingdom. PYPA’s role at Peniel IPC Dunedin is to influence and equip our youth so they can make a meaningful impact wherever God places them.

What began with just a handful of young people has now grown to over 50 active members. Over the years, PYPA at IPC Peniel has set a strong standard within the region. We have contributed significantly to the overall growth of Peniel IPC, our youth services and meetings have become impactful, and our young people continue to lead exemplary lives as model citizens in their communities.

Building Strong Women, Building Strong Homes

The main objective is to build a strong spiritual relationship between our sisters and also to connect through one-on-one relationships within the church.

This gives the sisters an opportunity for doing the Lord’s ministry together and also encouraging one another. The main objective is to build strong Christ centered homes and to develop a generation whose main aim is to spread the word of God and to win souls for Christ.

The Sisters’ fellowship meeting takes place in the first week of every month at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sisters’ fellowship meeting helps to connect, share our lives and build friendships within a safe and nurturing environment giving praise and worship to the Lord Almighty through songs, Psalms reading and meditation from the word of God.

Special meetings are also conducted wherein great men of God are invited to give us a deeper insight into the word of God and to equip us to live a successful Christian life. Chain prayers are held every month to pray for the sick and for many other relevant matters.

Sunday School Ministry

“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:59.

As the Christian community as a whole are facing tendency of a massive cultural shift in this “New Generation Era”, the importance of Sunday school is at its highest more than ever before. Nowadays, even Pentecostal churches are increasingly favouring the attitude of adopting the so-called modernization. Bible says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away”. The commandments in Bible are not only applicable for old times or old people, but also perfectly suits for the so-called new generation. Any attempt to revise it or deviate from it will only end up in chaos or drastic failures.

We are very happy to say that our church and Sunday school perfectly understands this. We do everything, not only to teach our children about God’s love and His commandments, but also make them understand the importance of practicing it in their daily life.

A Spirit filled, dedicated and pedagogically talented team of brothers and sisters are engaged in this ministry. Regular classes are conducted every Sunday from 11.30 am to 12 pm. The total time is divided into two sessions. The first 20 minutes is set aside for academic teaching and the rest for singing session. An anointed team of young men lead the singing session wherein songs, action songs and spiritually oriented games are taught.

By giving individual care, love and affection, we are able to win the hearts of the students to give them the right instructions and advice to aid in their Christian personality development.
